The Judge Group seeks an experienced accounting professional in Massachusetts to lead financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and cyclical audits. The role requires strong business acumen and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key duties include overseeing external accounting teams, managing the monthly close, revenue recognition under ASC 606, SOX controls, and providing regular accounting and revenue reports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support NetSuite integration for newly acquired businesses.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities managed by external accounting teams.
• Coordinate and manage the monthly close process.
• Journal entries.
• Account reconciliations.
• Adjusting entries.
• Manage and support Accounts Receivable (A/R) and collections.
• Review revenue arrangements and ensure ASC 606 revenue recognition requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Accounting teams.
• Perform SOX control testing in a public-company environment.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and revenue reports.
• Assist with royalty calculations and special projects.

• SaaS revenue recognition

• Proficiency in:

• Microsoft Excel
• Understanding of SOX compliance in a public company.
• Prior Big 4 accounting experience is a plus.
