Job summary

Buffalo Biodiesel, Inc. seeks an Accountant to join our growing accounting team. Reporting to the Controller, this role supports day-to-day operations, ensures accurate records, and completes month-end close in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience and strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, GAAP knowledge, and a mindset for process improvement. This full-time position offers a 75k-85k salary and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite (required).
• Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Experience with account reconciliations and month-end close.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment (preferred).
• Experience improving accounting processes and internal controls (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed.

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing accounting team. Reporting directly to the Controller, this position will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate financial records, timely month-end close, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys improving processes and solving problems. This role will work closely with the Controller to strengthen the accounting function and support the continued growth of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Controller with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
