Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform bank account reconciliations and generate reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate with the month-end closing with team members.
• Coordinate and communicate on various projects internally and externally.
• Assist preparation of yearly 1099 forms and audits/reports.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting including depreciation and capitalization.
• Assist with lease accounting and lease schedules reconciliations.
• Review operating expenses for accuracy and proper classification.
• Assist with filing state and local tax returns and reports.

SUMMARY

Responsible for daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, vendor management, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Support month-end closing activities, fixed asset and lease accounting, expense reviews, and state and local tax filings.

JOB DUTIESinclude but are not limited to the following:

• Obtain proper information and create vendors in compliance with financial policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications for an accountant include having an extensive knowledge of accounting principles and procedures; having strong accounts payable skills; being able to handle multiple projects in a given time, including during deadline periods; being a self-starter as well as a team player.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 2 - 3 years of accounts payable experience or general accounting
• Thorough knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable functions and procedures
• Sage or SAP experience highly preferred
• Maintain high attention to detail and strict deadlines
• Must be able to work efficiently in a team independently
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written – Bilingual English and Korean preferred
• General Microsoft office knowledge with proficiency in Excel including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot tables
• Experience with Certify or SAP Concur is plus
