Job Title: Accountant

Location: Anaheim, CA

The hourly rate for this position is expected to be between $27.50 - $40/hour per hour, depending on geographic location, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Employment Type: Temporary, 3-6 months

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday, approximately 40 hours per week

Job Summary

The Accountant supports daily financial operations, including revenue recording, reconciliations, accounts receivable/payable, and audit preparation, ensuring accurate financial reporting and organized fiscal records. Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and reconciling POS sales reports and recording revenue in the general ledger by category, department, and event
• Reconciling daily settlements and monthly bank statements across all accounts
• Reconciling intercompany accounts
• Overseeing accounts receivable and supporting accounts payable
• Assisting with financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
• Supporting preparation of monthly financial reports; maintaining organized fiscal files and records; and assisting with ad hoc reporting and special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred, with 2-4+ years of experience in accounting or finance
• Food and beverage, restaurant, or COG industry experience REQUIRED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) required; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O preferred.
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work efficiently under deadlines, manage within budget constraints, define problems and draw valid conclusions from data, take direction from multiple parties, and prioritize multiple tasks.
