Job summary

The State of Georgia Office of Adult Education seeks an Accountability Manager to oversee compliance and performance of WIOA Title II programs. You will monitor providers, deliver training, and develop corrective action plans to ensure grant funds advance program outcomes.

Reporting to the Assistant Commissioner, you will interpret federal and state policies, conduct on-site and desktop reviews, coordinate budget amendments, and work with fiscal staff to maintain Title II requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of WIOA Title II regulations and CFRs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and simplify complex technical documents for a broad audience.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance on grant management to adult education program administrators, educators, and stakeholders; emphasize WIOA CFRs.
• Serve as SME on federal and state adult education policies to improve program performance and compliance.
• Collaborate with Instructional Services to leverage grant funds for outcomes.
• Conduct desktop and on-site monitoring to assess compliance and develop corrective action plans.
• Coordinate with policy teams to implement adult education policy and procedures.
