Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking an Account Training Manager in New York to design and implement training tools for our field team. You will collaborate with Account Management and District Market Managers to ensure strict adherence to Retail Mass Merchandising standards and client directives.

The role demands strong training, coaching, and presentation skills, plus people management and relationship-building capabilities.

Qualifications

• 4-year or advanced degree is a plus.
• 3 years of experience within a specialty or retail chain.
• Experience managing a team.
• Previous work as a retail coordinator or visual manager.
• Experience developing training materials.
• Experience managing a client within an agency.

Responsibilities

• Create training tools to prepare the field team to meet client expectations.
• Execute on direction from the District Market Manager and ensure standards are met.
• Develop and maintain the full Retail Mass Merchandising training suite.
• Create and update Store Visit Reports according to client needs to drive field success.
• Create tools to enhance Field Merchandising team efficiency.
• Provide data summaries to support visit execution and project success.
• Monitor client feedback and communicate findings to the DMM, taking action where appropriate.
• Evaluate and optimize the SVR/proto review process to visualize results.

Status: Full-Time

Salary: $60,000-$70,000

Join Our Team

Winston Retail is looking for an Account Training Manager for our Retail Mass Merchandising division, who will develop and implement training tools/materials for the field team. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management and District Market Managers to ensure 100% execution of all Retail Mass Merchandising standards and directives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create CPG training tools to ensure that all talent are prepared to overcome common challenges and execute visits to meet the client's expectations.
• Execute on the direction of the District Market Manager and collaborate with Account Management to ensure that all Retail Mass Merchandising standards are completed to expectations.
• Develop and maintain the full Retail Mass Merchandising training suite including visit expectations, execution of tasks, relationship building, negotiating, and reporting requirements.
• Create and update Store Visit Reports according to the client's needs and requests to drive success in the field.
• Create tools to enhance the Field Merchandising team's ability to create efficiencies in their roles.
• Provide relevant data summaries to support the analysis of visit execution and project success.
• Monitor client feedback through our proprietary systems, communicate findings to the DMM, and take action where appropriate.
• Evaluate and optimize the SVR/proto review process to visualize and communicate results internally and to the client.
