The City of Huber Heights, Ohio, located just minutes from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and in close proximity of the Dayton International Airport and the I-75/I-70 “Crossroads of America” interchange with a population of 43,439, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Account Technician. The position is responsible for accounting activities which include, accounts payable, payroll, database management, and associated mandated reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements: Associate degree in accounting and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in accounts payable and auditing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to provide sufficient evidence of the successful performance of the essential functions of the job. Salary Range is $44,556 to $64,959 DOQ. Benefits include, but not limited to, vacation leave accrual, sick leave accrual, 24 hours of personal leave and excellent health insurance benefits to include employer paid medical premium and generous contributions to HSA/HRA, employer paid life insurance benefit, and a member of the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System with 1% employer pick up by the employer.

The selection process will include an oral interview(s) on a date TBD to establish an eligibility list to fill an immediate opening for the position of full-time Account Technician. The process will begin with screening of applicants for requisites and credentials. Prior to appointment, applicant must submit to an extensive background investigation, drug screen and physical.
