Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an accomplished earned media and public relations professional to lead strategic storytelling and media outreach from Colorado. The role focuses on shaping narratives, securing cross-channel coverage, and advising executives for media interactions in a fast-paced agency setting.

You will mentor junior team members, manage multiple client projects, and build strong relationships with top-tier media to advance client objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of earned media, media relations, PR or corporate communications in an agency or fast-paced setting.
• Proven success building relationships with business, trade and top-tier media.
• Experience securing earned coverage across business, trade, broadcast, print and digital media.
• Strong understanding of reputation management and today’s evolving media landscape.
• Ability to identify newsworthy stories and shape compelling narratives.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills with experience developing media materials and presentations.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
