Job summary

Palmer Logistics is recruiting a Customer Service Account Specialist to be the primary interface with customers, ensuring orders are processed accurately and requirements are met. You will coordinate with warehouse operations, verify rates, and address customer inquiries with a proactive, service-driven approach.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in logistics customer service, is comfortable with Warehouse Management Systems, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
• Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
• Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
• Detail-oriented with basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders per requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoice and verify rates per warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints and escalate to management as needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.

Position Summary

The Account Specialist is responsible for being the primary interface with our customers, ensuring procedures are followed, and customer requirements are met in the processing of their orders. Account Specialists will serve as an intermediary between the customer and our warehouse operations while implementing best practices that support the continued growth of Palmer Logistics and H. Essers. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, proactive, customer-focused individual who is proficient in Warehouse Management Systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience and knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
• Invoicing and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
• Address customer complaints in a timely manner and **escalate** to management as needed.
• Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
• Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient matter.
• Follow established company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
• Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
