Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC in Houston is seeking an Account Specialist for a 5-month, W-2 contract. The role focuses on data entry, trend analysis, and reporting development to support invoicing and billing for ERCOT and Northeast markets.

You will work with internal teams to document processes, create improvements, and ensure timely, accurate billing. Work hours are 7:30am to 4pm, onsite at Houston.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED is required or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience: 1 or more years in related roles.

Responsibilities

• Participates in identifying and implementing process improvements to boost performance.
• Prepares and maintains complex spreadsheets, graphics, and documents for tracking and reporting.
• Leads custom solutions, defines processes, creates SLAs, and streamlines workflows.
• Collaborates with internal departments to document and improve system and process gaps.
• Provides management with deliverables status updates and progress.
• Ensures billing and transactional SLAs are met across customer segments.
• Complies with rules and regulations across states and markets.
• Creates process documentation across markets.

About the role:

Location: onsite: Houston, Texas 77002

We're looking for an Account Specialist on behalf of our client. This is a 5-month contract assignment. (W-2) You will be responsible for data entry, analyzing trends to business processes and identifying and facilitating the creation of reporting around each function. You will serve in assisting in areas of invoicing and managing complex aggregation customers in both ERCOT and Northeast markets, operational and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate billing of our client's customers.

You will conduct operational analyses that support informed decision-making within the department . Main responsibilities include data entry and documentation, medium to large special projects, quantitative and qualitative research, process design and modification, and report development. Individuals in this role apply standardized tools and techniques. You will report to the onsite Manager.

5-months contract assignment. (W-2)

Key Responsibilities:

• Participates in identifying and recommending process improvement solutions for increased overall performance, and capability
• Prepares spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), graphics, and word documents for tracking, reporting, documentation, and presentations
• Will take a leadership role to create a custom solution with a detailed understanding of internal processes. This includes process definition, SLA creation and implementation, and streamlining.
• Collaborate across all internal departments to proactively identify, document, develop and improve system and process gaps.
• Provide information to Management staff on deliverables and status updates
• Maintain and exceed service level agreements regarding billing and transactional functions
• Ensures compliance of rules and regulations across all customer segments in all states
• Help create process documentation across markets
