Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an Account Representative I to grow and manage a book of business by converting competitors’ activity and expanding medium-sized accounts into large accounts. You will maintain customer satisfaction and effectively respond to requirements with customized quotes.

The role emphasizes building strong relationships, presenting solutions, and coordinating vendor resources to support sales objectives. Travel and on-site engagement are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 0–2 years of experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of industrial products: power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial products.
• Ability to take initiative and work with limited direction.

SUMMARY:

The Account Representative I is primarily responsible for building or expanding their book of business through converting competitors' business and expanding their assigned medium-sized accounts to become large accounts. This role fosters customer satisfaction by maintaining customer contact and managing customer expectations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
