Job summary

Schneider in Chicago, IL is seeking an Account Representative to support the Account Specialist Team within the Transportation Management division. This on-site role focuses on resolving issues, supporting customers and carriers, and building strong internal and external relationships.

The position operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with starting wages from $19.60 to $24.50 per hour, and a benefits package including health, life, 401(k) with match, PTO and tuition reimbursement.

• Reply to customer emails in a timely, courteous and accurate manner.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Solve problems for accounts by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Ensure freight is classified correctly.
• Use reports, dashboards, tools and other technologies to meet customers’ needs.
• Oversee orders from beginning to end.
