Guided Search Partners is searching for an Account Representative to develop business with mid-sized and large organizations. The role emphasizes building executive-level relationships and requires strong communication skills.
This position offers hybrid and remote flexibility with opportunities for high earning potential through long-term strategic solutions in employee benefits consulting.
Guided Search Partners is an Executive Search firm built on Trust, Transparency, Specialization, and Long-term Relationships. We connect high-performing professionals with organizations that value people, performance, and growth—helping leaders find roles where they can make an impact and build meaningful careers.
We’re partnering with a privately held employee benefits consulting and risk management firm seeking an Account Representative / Business Development Hunter. This is a strong opportunity for a sales professional who knows how to build executive-level relationships and create new business through trust, persistence, and strategic outreach. The company helps mid-sized and large employers reduce employee benefits spend through consulting, analytics, and multi-year cost management programs. This is not a transactional benefits sales role. It is a relationship-driven opportunity for someone who can connect with CEOs, CFOs, COOs, and business owners, open meaningful conversations, and sell long-term strategic solutions. The role is preferred in the Chicago area, with openness to Illinois, Michigan, or Wisconsin. Hybrid and remote flexibility are available.
You’ll focus on developing new business opportunities with mid-sized and large organizations across the Midwest.
You are a true hunter who enjoys creating opportunities, building relationships, and earning trust with senior decision makers. You are comfortable with a longer sales cycle and understand that strong business development is built through consistency, follow‑up, and relationship depth. You do not need heavy management to stay active, organized, and focused. You would do well here if you are entrepreneurial, confident speaking with executives, and motivated by high‑income potential in a relationship‑based sales environment.
This role matters because the company is actively investing in growth and sees a major opportunity in the current market. With existing marketing campaigns, networking relationships, seminars, and strong manufacturing industry traction, the right salesperson will have room to build a meaningful book of business. This is a strong fit for someone who wants autonomy, high earning potential, and the chance to sell services that create measurable value for clients. For a sales professional who enjoys strategic conversations and long‑term relationship building, this is a role with real upside.
