Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Bloomington, IN is seeking an Account Representative to manage an existing commercial customer base, focusing on renewals and revenue growth. You will proactively address customer needs, maintain pricing and CRM records, and expand services offered to clients.

The role emphasizes building long-term relationships, achieving sales targets, and collaborating with the Sales team to service top accounts in the territory.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a customer-facing sales role (B2B) is highly preferred.
• Experience developing and executing territory sales strategies preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee account management of existing commercial customer base, with focus on contract renewal and quality of revenue.
• Retain and develop long-term business relationships with existing customers through proactive service offerings, prompt attention and resolution to customer concerns, and timely service agreement updates.
• Conduct personal visits, phone calls, and mailings to existing customers to foster relationships.
• Administer and preserve all price initiatives.
• Secure price increases on unprofitable accounts and/or per schedule.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of Rumpke's services and pricing, while offering additional services to increase revenue.
• Respond to service cancellation requests with priority and personal follow-up.
