Position Summary: The Account Recovery Specialist is a vital member of our collections team, focused on managing consumer accounts to recover outstanding debts with a customer-centric approach. This role involves making outbound calls and handling inbound inquiries, building rapport with consumers, negotiating payment solutions, and ensuring precise account documentation and follow-up tracking. The Account Recovery Specialist must maintain professionalism, adhere to approved scripting, and comply with verification processes to achieve recovery goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Make outbound calls and field inbound calls regarding consumer accounts, adhering to approved scripting and verifying consumer identity per company standards.Build positive rapport with consumers to facilitate open communication and trust while addressing account-related inquiries.Work diligently to recover owed funds by negotiating payment plans and settlements tailored to consumer circumstances.Accurately notate all account interactions, payment arrangements, and updates in the designated software system.Track follow-ups with consumers to ensure timely resolution of accounts and maintain consistent communication as needed.Focus on feedback from KPI reports to improve performance and contribute to individual and company goals.Perform additional duties as assigned by management that align with the core functions of the role.Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience:High School Diploma or GED.Prior administrative experience.Attention to detail.Excellent computer skills, especially typing.Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.Specialized Knowledge/Beneficial Skills and ExperienceQuick and efficient typing/word processing skills.Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).Experience with FACS software.Pleasant, easy going, gets along well with others.Working Conditions/Physical DemandsNormal office environment.
