Qualifications

• Education to high school level or GED; some post-secondary education preferred.
• Excellent interviewing and interpersonal skills to assist members.
• Ability to communicate over the phone; resolve disputes and negotiate.

Responsibilities

• Strive to minimize delinquency and loan losses and achieve goals.
• Offer solutions based on member needs to arrange payments.
• Document collection activities with details for follow-up.
• Work delinquent accounts daily to obtain promises to pay.
• Conduct skip tracing to locate information when needed.
• Handle collections on delinquent loans and related accounts.
• Process claims for credit life/ disability, Debt Cancellation, CPI on collateral.
• Review reports and assess accounts for right of offset.
• Assist with bankruptcy-status accounts within regulatory limits.
