Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental accounts, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive account performance. The role includes deliveries, pickups, and early-stage collections, with a focus on building strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.

The position emphasizes growth opportunities, in-store and field responsibilities, and compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and build strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments using account management tools.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups; deliver white-glove service in-store, by phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to safety and operational guidelines.
