Job summary

Rent-A-Center is seeking an Account Manager to oversee an assigned portfolio of rental accounts, delivering exceptional customer service and driving account performance. You will handle deliveries, pickups, and early-stage collections while maintaining showroom standards and safety guidelines.

The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, securing payments, and contributing to sales growth through new rental agreements and excellent service at in-store, phone, and on-site

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts and nurture customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly targets.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments.
• Complete routes for deliveries, pickups, and follow-ups.
• Provide white-glove customer service in-store, by phone, and at customers' homes.
• Support sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Follow all safety and operational guidelines.
