Account Manager – Technology Industry – Remote (Seattle, WA)

The Select Group is seeking a high-impact sales professional to join our team and help Fortune 500 clients achieve their technology priorities. This Account Manager will work remotely in Seattle, WA and will be responsible for partnering with local enterprise clients within the Technology Industry.

The Account Manager drives new business growth by fostering strong client relationships and identifying opportunities for TSG’s core service areas. This role combines consultative selling, strategic account management, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client objectives. Success in this role is defined by the ability to align sales strategies with client needs, execute with resilience, and embody TSG’s core values: Trust, Service, and Grit.

Account Management Responsibilities:

  • Business and account development, including generating sales leads and cold-calling prospective clients
  • Lead virtual and in-person meetings to develop an understanding of a customers’ needs and share details of TSG’s core service areas
  • Develop partnerships within client accounts through regular meetings (virtual and in-person) and relationship-building events
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the customers' strategic initiatives and proactively work with them on framing business objectives
  • Identify new opportunities with customers to sell TSG’s core service areas and partner with our Solution Development and Service Delivery teams
  • Partner with the onshore delivery and engagement teams to identify technical resources for client needs
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices, business, and technology trends to develop a strong business aptitude for a consultative approach with clients

Qualifications:

  • Previous business development and professional selling experience
  • Experience selling IT Consulting Services or Technology Solutions to clients within the Technology Industry is highly preferred
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding objectives and quotas
  • Successful experience with new account development and/or large account management
  • Proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills
  • High levels of social perceptiveness with a passion for understanding and exceeding client expectations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience
