Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking an Account Manager for the Surety team in Greenville. You will assist with bond preparation and execution, service renewal accounts, and support client relationships with carriers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in insurance (surety preferred) and a P&C license or the ability to obtain it within 90 days. We offer a hybrid work model and development opportunities.

• Five+ years insurance experience, preferably in contract and commercial surety.
• Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and execution of bonds (performance, payment, license, court).
• Service and market new and renewal Surety accounts; maintain filings.

Account Manager – Surety

A day in the life

As our Account Manager on the Surety team, you'll assist with the preparation and execution of bonds (performance & payment, license, court, misc. bonds), including collecting data, completing necessary forms and preparing correspondence. You will service and market new and renewal Surety accounts, process general agreement of indemnities, maintain power of attorney filings and bond supply, and build and retain relationships with clients and insurance carriers.

Our future colleague

We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

• Five or more years insurance experience (preferably in contract and commercial surety)
• Property & Casualty insurance license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

• Accounting or Financial background is a plus!
• Proficient use of agency software such as Sagitta, Image Right, Surepath, and Microsoft Office products
• Legal work authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
