I opened my agency in 2008 and currently lead a team of 14. My career path has been anything but traditional - I was a teacher before joining State Farm and also spent time working as a coal miner, following a family tradition that goes back four generations. I ultimately chose a different path and became a first-generation insurance agent, building an agency and career of my own. Outside of work, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Role description

As an Account Manager for Justin Mays - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You help grow our agency through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agent office departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.
