Knight's Companies Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Redi-Mix Concrete to engage with clients, support sales, and drive growth. You will quote based on pricing, place orders, and ensure timely delivery while building strong relationships across sectors.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction, strong communication, budgeting and contract negotiation skills, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Colleague collaboration and service excellence are core to this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years’ construction industry experience, preferably in the target market.
• Concrete industry experience preferred.
• Excellent people skills and customer-focused philosophy.
• Effective communication with people at all operations levels.
• Experience in budget, goal setting, and contract negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate customer quotes based on pricing matrix.
• Place orders and monitor production and delivery for timely fulfillment.
• Build and maintain relationships with key accounts to increase activity.
• Collaborate with management to plan objectives and procedures.
• Execute a strategic plan for regular customer contact and loyalty.
• Troubleshoot billing, quality, and service complaints.
• Provide efficient resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist Billing and Credit in resolving account issues.
• Participate in networking events to promote products and services.
• Expedite mix design submittals with customers and Quality Control.
• Perform project research and review specs for quality control before bidding.
• Monitor contractor performance in credit, pricing, delivery and purchasing.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare accurate customer quotes based on our pricing matrix, ensuring clarity on product quality and services. You'll help clients understand our offerings!

• Monitor contractor performance in credit, pricing, delivery, and purchasing. Assist accounting with billing and collections. Your insights will drive our success!

What You Need to be Successful:

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three (3) to five (5) years’ construction industry experience, preferably in the target market.
• Concrete industry experience preferred.
• Excellent people skills and customer-focused philosophy.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with people at all operations levels.
• Must have experience in budget and goal preparation, contract negotiation and program development.
• Computer proficiency to include Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Have good mathematics skills including use of feet, inches, and fractions.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence.

Pay Range

$85,000 - $95,000 USD
