Zusammenfassung

Knight’s Companies is seeking a Mixer Truck Driver to operate a ready-mix truck and deliver high-quality concrete to customer sites. You will ensure safety, accuracy, and excellent service on every delivery, while maintaining logs and conducting vehicle inspections.

Qualified candidates have a CDL (A or B), a REAL ID, and at least one year of CDL experience. The role offers a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits as part of a stable, family-owned employer with a long history in construction

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL Class A or B required.
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required.
• Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI within past 5 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations within past 3 years.
• Minimum age: 18 (SC) / 21 (GA).

Aufgaben

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
• Deliver concrete to job sites efficiently and accurately.
• Inspect loads to ensure proper mix consistency and quality (slump, texture, color, etc.).
• Verify delivery instructions and job site locations before departing the plant.
• Maintain communication with plant personnel and dispatch for delivery coordination.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service at all times.
• Complete required paperwork including delivery tickets, logs, and inspection reports.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform minor maintenance as needed.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety standards.
• Support plant operations and assist team members when needed.

What You Need to Be Successful:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL Class A or B) required
• Valid REAL ID in state of residence required
• Must be at least:
  • 18 years of age for operations in South Carolina
  • 21 years of age for operations in Georgia
• Minimum of one (1) year of CDL driving experience required
• No DUI/DWI violations within the past five (5) years
• No more than three (3) moving violations within the past three (3) years
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Bilingual skills are a plus
