Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring for an Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of rental accounts, delivering outstanding service and managing collections and payments. The role includes coordinating deliveries, facilitating returns, and building strong customer relationships to support sales growth.

The position emphasizes in-store and field interactions, with a focus on account health and customer satisfaction. A high school diploma, 18+ years old, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customers’ homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
