Account Manager - Products & Services (West Texas & Oklahoma)

Southwest Electric Co. is looking for an experienced Account Manager to be based in the Southwest territory to maintain and grow market share for our world-renowned portfolio of products and services, including custom pad-mounted distribution liquid-filled transformers, custom medium voltage switchgear, industrial motor repair, and substation field services. The ideal candidate will have previous experience selling similar products and services with the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities that take advantage of all SWE capabilities. The Account Manager will manage regional and/or target customers throughout Northern Texas and Eastern New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer’s sites to maintain and build Southwest Electric’s Transformer, Substation, M/V Switchgear, and AC/DC Motor offerings and services.
• Solicit new business opportunities that fit within our strategic goals and objectives while cross-selling our different verticals of business.
• Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs.
• Create proposals and quotations for our products and services according to pricing policies established by Company management.
• Manage all reporting about the health of customers’ accounts.

Requirements

• 5 years of previous industry Service Sales experience.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80%.
• Previous AC/DC motor repair, Substation, MV Switchgear, or Transformer experience is required.
