Job description

The Account Manager position is responsible for accounts: Acme, Redner's, and Giant. They develop profitable programs, negotiate promotions, space, displays, and other initiatives with the account. The goal is to deliver sustainable and profitable growth for all AC Food & Snack brands.

This role also involves developing collaborative business plans with each account to achieve volume objectives and working with the operations team, distributors, and branches to ensure 100% execution of all account coops and programs.

This position is remote; candidates must reside in PA.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Sales Planning
  • Align internally and with the account on annual volume expectations.
  • Develop and maintain a promotional calendar to support profitable growth.
  • Coordinate sales with the operations team through TMS and S&OP monthly.
  • Monitor sales performance weekly and follow up with distributors and branches.
Profitability
  • Review sales data to promote the right items at proper prices.
  • Conduct monthly P&L reviews to maximize profitability.
  • Monitor promotions for correct PPA on account and Wise side.
  • Ensure execution and spend guidelines are followed by distributors.
  • Communicate displays, programs, and incentives to drive volume.
Grow Sales
  • Conduct weekly market tours to identify opportunities.
  • Review opportunities with the category team for space and display options.
  • Work with Marketing and RGM on pricing strategies.
  • Participate in monthly sales meetings to discuss promotional plans and feedback.
  • Present and approve new items for ACF&S brands.
  • Use data to monitor category or brand performance shifts.
Manage Accounts / Customer Development
  • Integrate AC F&S into clients' daily business plans.
  • Share sales data post-events to validate growth contribution.
  • Maintain account files and update in systems.
  • Track AR and promotional allowances.
  • Maintain proper POG in accounts.
  • Build strong customer relationships and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate with distributors on service issues and prevention plans.
Qualifications
  1. Education: HS diploma required; Bachelor's in Business Management, Sales, or Marketing preferred; Master's is a plus.
  2. Experience: 3+ years in CPG, account responsibility, and sales. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
