Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience in biology, biotechnology, or life sciences and thrive on building meaningful client relationships. As an Account Manager at Avam, you will lead strategic sales initiatives, drive growth through new customer acquisition, and nurture existing relationships to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans tailored to the biotechnology and life sciences sectors.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging business-to-business (B2B) networking.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, ensuring understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with channel partners and internal teams to maximize sales opportunities and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, managing pipelines effectively through customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Conduct regular client meetings, delivering product presentations, and providing excellent post-sale support.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), adjusting strategies proactively to enhance results.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, technical sales, or solution selling within biotechnology or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong proficiency in CRM systems and databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, manage complex sales cycles, and close deals effectively.
  • Experience with international sales and channel partner development is advantageous.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and driven to exceed targets.
