Job summary

The Jamar Company is seeking an Account Manager for our Bartingale Mechanical division in Eau Claire, WI. You will be the trusted liaison for clients, coordinating solutions with service and operations teams to meet long-term facility goals.

You will manage maintenance agreements, analyze customer needs, and travel locally to sites as required. Proactive relationship-building and strong problem-solving skills are essential for driving account growth.

Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in HVAC or related sector with client account management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using CRM systems to manage accounts and track activity.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage client relationships.

At a Glance

Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Travel: Approximately 50% to local/regional client sites/customer locations.

Required Experience: 2+ years

Schedule: Standard full-time schedule. Work hours may occasionally vary to support customer needs, travel, service requirements, and operational priorities.

Benefits Start: First of the month following 20 calendar days from date of hire.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as their primary point of contact.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs, goals, and long-term facility plans.
• Manage preventive maintenance and service agreements, ensuring customer requirements are understood and supported.
• Partner with internal service and operations teams to coordinate solutions and resolve customer concerns.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships, expand services, and support account growth.
• Monitor account performance, prepare customer reports, and provide recommendations based on customer needs and market trends.
• Travel regularly to customer sites throughout the local and regional service area.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a relationship-driven Account Manager who understands the HVAC or building services industry and enjoys helping customers solve problems, plan ahead, and achieve their operational goals.

• Required Qualifications
• Two or more years of experience in the HVAC industry or a related sector, including client account management, with the ability to apply industry knowledge and provide strategic guidance to customers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using CRM systems or similar tools and processes to manage customer accounts and track account activity.
• Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and effectively manage client relationships.
• Strong skill in identifying customer needs and translating them into practical, actionable solutions.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
