Rinker in Oklahoma City is seeking an Account Manager to grow, manage and optimize a portfolio of accounts on-site. You will identify new customers, analyze revenue trends, and build lasting relationships with clients to meet earnings targets.

The role emphasizes market expansion, customer satisfaction, and collaboration with operations and leadership to drive revenue and strategic growth in construction and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent sales experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in an equivalent sales position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, with strong presentation, negotiation and persuasion skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills with proactive problem solving.
  • Experience opening new markets and establishing new customers.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, proven sales and marketing ability.
  • Track record of increasing sales revenue.
  • Concrete segment experience a plus, consumer goods helpful.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with diverse people.
  • Self-motivated with time management and initiative.
  • Thorough, organized and detail-oriented.
  • Willing to travel; valid driver's license.

  • Estimates and analyzes records of present and past operations, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.
  • Identifies and contacts potential new customers, and handles their individual needs.
  • Develops positive relationships and keeps in contact with clients, answers questions, resolves conflicts and provides solutions.
  • Predicts future market trends and develops new sales ideas.
  • Sets and tracks sales account targets, keeping aligned with company objectives.
  • Interprets accounts and records to management.
  • May be responsible for sales budget. May attend trade shows and conferences.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and listening skills including the ability to solve problems proactively, and exercise sound judgment.

  • Experience opening new markets and establishing new customers.

  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, proven sales and marketing ability.

  • A consistent track record of increasing sales revenue.

  • Concrete segment experience a plus, consumer goods helpful.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a variety of people and personalities.

  • Able to apply effective time management and self-management skills.

  • Possess thorough, organized and detail-oriented approach to work.

  • Self-motivated, fast learner, shows initiative, willing to seek out information to achieve sales goals.

  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel Outlook, PowerPoint, Internet and other database/ERP (Microsoft CRM/ JD Edwards) applications.

  • Must have a valid drivers' license and ability to travel
