Job summary

The Shipyard is a leading marketing and communications agency seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our San Diego team. You will be the trusted daily contact for clients, coordinating across internal teams to deliver on strategy, paid media, analytics, and creative execution.

This hybrid role requires in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a commitment to building strong client relationships while guiding projects from brief to completion in a fast-paced agency environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years equivalent work experience in an Account Manager or similar role.
• Proven ability to nurture client relationships and manage communications.
• Experience creating client documents and project briefs that drive outcomes.
• Track record of moving projects forward and meeting deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily workflow of assigned client(s) under supervision.
• Coordinate client meetings and prepare materials with the Account Supervisor/Director.
• Maintain client budgets, estimates, and monthly billing records.
• Foster trusted client relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support development of client business reviews and presentations.
• Review deliverables against objectives and brand standards.
