Job summary

The Shipyard is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our Denver or New York City offices. You will work on a hybrid schedule, two days per week in office, supporting a portfolio of accounts with media relations, reporting, and creative materials.

Ideal candidates bring 0–2 years of related experience, strong writing/editing skills, and a proactive, organized approach to deadlines. This role offers growth within a dynamic agency environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years in Account Coordinator or similar role.
• Excellent writing/editing with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to consume and synthesize media content across industries.
• Clear interpersonal and communication skills; meets deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, track, and report coverage for assigned accounts.
• Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and client reporting deliverables.
• Develop media materials: alerts, captions, pitches, bios, fact sheets.
• Support account organization and deadlines using project software.
• Assist with brainstorming and campaign angles; multicultural support.
• Research influencers and partnerships; assist with travel plans.
