Job summary

Rent-A-Center is hiring for an Account Manager who will manage rental accounts, deliver excellent customer service, and drive sales while coordinating deliveries and pickups. The role emphasizes building relationships, securing payments, and maintaining showroom standards across in-store and in-home interactions.

Preferred candidates will be at least 18 with a high school diploma, a valid drivers license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid drivers license.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee an assigned portfolio of accounts while building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Conduct early-stage collections (1–6 days past due) and meet daily/weekly collection standards.
• Maintain account health and secure payment commitments utilizing account management tools.
• Complete assigned routes for deliveries, pickups, and account follow-ups.
• Deliver white-glove customer service in-store, over the phone, and in customerse2 homes.
• Contribute to sales growth and generate new rental agreements.
• Safely transport, install, and handle merchandise.
• Maintain showroom standards and company vehicles.
• Adhere to all company safety and operational guidelines.
