OVERVIEW

The Account Manager sells Canon Medical's solutions within a geographic territory of medium-sized community medical centers, critical access hospitals, and outpatient imaging centers. The Account Manager serves as the main point of contact to interface with customers and prospects within a defined sales territory. The individual in this role utilizes personnel resources such as sales clinical/technical specialists (RBMs), customer service, and customer applications. They are accountable to the sales region for order volume and territory coverage to drive opportunity visibility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a remote, field-based position. The selected individual will be required to live in or near the designated metropolitan area (Jacksonville, Gainesville, or Tallahassee, FL).

• Ensure sales objectives are achieved through effective sales skills, product knowledge, and understanding of the territory and customer needs.
• Develop a territory coverage plan that includes multiple counties, targeting mid-size medical centers, critical access hospitals, and outpatient imaging centers.
• Maintain regular contact with customers to identify future sales needs and ensure existing service requirements are met.
• Utilize inbound lead sources and qualify opportunities within the defined territory.
• Partner with lifecycle teams to identify aging install bases and implement appropriate upgrade or replacement plans.
• Close sales orders on a quarterly basis.
• Regularly update company sales tools to reflect territory coverage, sales opportunities, and customer call activity.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office and computer skills.
• Experience in consultative selling and developing and closing large contracts.
• Experience with long sales cycles.
• Experience working with sales quotas and forecasting.
• Knowledge of diagnostic imaging products and systems applications.
• 4-year/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in the medical imaging field or similar sales environment.
• 3 years of sales experience in medical imaging preferred.
