Compensation includes a base salary of $57,500.00 - $86,300.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range, this role is eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $45,000.00.

Field Sales Representative (NextGear)

NextGear, a Cox Automotive Brand, is hiring a Field Sales Representative/Senior Client Solutions Executive to join our team in North Florida. Candidates should reside in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Tallahassee, or Ocala, FL.

The Senior Client Solutions Executive (SE) is a full-time outside sales role requiring a structured approach to developing new business within a defined territory. Responsibilities include achieving targets in new applications, activations, and monthly revenue for NextGear Capital and related products. The SE will maintain relationships with auction general managers to maximize business opportunities and collaborate closely with Portfolio Managers to exceed goals.

What You’ll Do:
  • Educate customers on all products and services offered by NextGear Capital, including inventory financing and ancillary products.
  • Gain knowledge of Cox Automotive’s full product suite to make tailored recommendations.
  • Develop and execute an aggressive sales plan within your market.
  • Build a prospect list through cold calling, lead follow-up, and referrals.
  • Conduct weekly cold calls to solicit new relationships.
  • Follow up promptly on all leads.
  • Increase loan volume and utilization through service calls to existing customers.
  • Re-engage inactive dealers to increase credit line utilization.
  • Meet performance targets for new applications, loan development, and sales.
  • Perform initial underwriting of potential customers before application acceptance.
  • Monitor credit applications throughout the process.
  • Contract and onboard new customers.
  • Manage the customer experience through the first six months of the dealer lifecycle.
  • Achieve enrollment and sales targets for ancillary products.
  • Develop strong relationships with Portfolio Managers.
  • Conduct monthly non-sales visits with auction general managers.
  • Expand business opportunities at assigned auctions through relationship development.

Who You Are:

Motivated self-starter with charisma, integrity, and respect. Qualifications include:

Required Minimum:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years of experience, or equivalent combination (e.g., master’s degree with 2 years, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 8 years of experience).
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
Preferred:
  • Bilingual (Spanish) highly preferred.
  • 5+ years outside sales and portfolio management experience.
  • 3+ years in finance or auto industry.
  • Sales management skills.
  • Comfortable in high-pressure, results-driven environments.
  • Ability to learn company systems and Microsoft SalesForce.
