iBuyFlowers is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to join our growing team, focused on retail floral customers on the East Coast. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and turning prospects into long-term, loyal accounts.

We’re looking for a sales-driven floral professional who can do both: nurture existing customers to grow their spend and consistency—while actively hunting and converting new business.

iBuyFlowers is seeking a high-performing Account Manager to join our growing team, focused on retail floral customers on the East Coast. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, driving revenue, and turning prospects into long-term, loyal accounts.

We’re looking for a sales-driven floral professional who can do both: nurture existing customers to grow their spend and consistency—while actively hunting and converting new business.

What You’ll Do

Nurture and Grow Existing Accounts

●Deepen relationships with retail flower shops and help them order with confidence and consistency

●Prevent churn by proactively addressing lapses in ordering, concerns, or roadblocks

●Identify and execute opportunities to increase share of wallet through upselling, cross-selling, and standing orders

●Track customer behavior and act quickly when engagement drops

Convert and Develop New Accounts

●Conduct outbound calls to warm and cold leads, introducing iBuyFlowers and pitching our value

●Convert leads into active buyers through strategic, hands-on onboarding

●Ensure every new customer receives white-glove support through their first few orders

●Help new accounts build strong habits, ensuring they become long-term, high-value clients

Educate and Set Customers Up for Success

●Clearly communicate iBuyFlowers’ unique selling points—direct-from-farm freshness, competitive pricing, free shipping, and time-saving tools

●Guide customers through how to navigate the platform with ease, including how to search, filter, and build optimized carts

●Help customers plan strategically for weekly orders and events by introducing tools like standing orders and forward purchasing

●Ensure every customer is set up for long-term success by proactively sharing best practices and personalized recommendations for ordering efficiently and profitably

What We're Looking For

●Proven ability to grow existing accounts and convert new business

●Comfortable making outbound calls and owning the full sales cycle

●Strong understanding of floral product categories, seasonality, and common sourcing challenges

●Ability to speak the language of floral professionals and provide relevant, product-specific guidance

●Highly organized, self-motivated, and outcome-driven

●Willing to travel 1–2 times per year to meet with key accounts or attend team gatherings

Qualifications●

3+ years of experience in the floral industry—retail, wholesale, or floral procurement strongly preferred●

Proven track record in sales or account management, with experience nurturing and growing client relationships●

Demonstrated ability to prospect, pitch, and close new business through outbound efforts●

Strong understanding of flower types, seasonality, sourcing, and retail floral operations●

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to educate and influence customers●

Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating digital sales tools, CRM systems, and ecommerce platforms●

Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing a large book of business independently●

Must be located on the East Coast or have strong familiarity with East Coast floral marketsW

Clear growth in both territory revenue and customer engagement●
