Our client, a pet care retailer, is seeking a Creative Manager (more of an Account Manager) to join our Creative Operations Team. Our Creative Managers foster best-in-class creative outcomes that meet our internal partner’s business objectives. They understand what strong relationships require and the best practices for growing them while delivering exceptional customer service.

In this role, you will oversee creative planning and execution for highly complex brand & marketing campaigns, that require strong strategic support & cross-functional leadership. You will partner with Creative Leaders to develop creative strategies and solutions for our clients’ business challenges. You will define client engagements for complex cross-functional programs, juggling multiple projects from start to finish. A passion for pets and culturally defining consumer brands is a must.

Note: This role is fully remote, with an option to go onsite 2 days a week in Boston, Plantation, FL, Bellevue, SEA, or Minneapolis.

Call outs: This role is similar to Agency Account Management, Account Manager, Account Director.

- Experience with integrated campaigns is required.

- Strong Creative Project Management skills are essential.

- Lead creative strategy and planning for full-funnel campaigns, including media buys for TV, OTT/CTV, OLV (YT & Meta), and production budgets (photo and video).

- Well-versed in the creative process (strategy, briefs, reviews, feedback management).

  • Agency background or experience in creative marketing at a Fortune 500 company preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills; leadership and external partner-facing experience required.

What You’ll Do:

  • Partner with brand, marketing, and channel leads to develop roadmaps and manage the creative pipeline.
  • Oversee creative planning and execution for cross-functional programs, with support from a Project Manager.
  • Ensure adherence to the creative process and best practices across all media.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey to identify creative opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, Copywriters, and Studio teams.
  • Define success metrics for creative performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external teams, acting as a liaison.
  • Lead Creative Reviews, synthesize feedback, and ensure clarity.
  • Present to senior clients with strategic thinking and credibility.
  • Manage feedback, project status meetings, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Advise on risks, issues, and tradeoffs for successful launches.
  • Represent Creative Services in presentations and strategy discussions.
  • Manage, motivate, and mentor teams.
  • Forecast, track, and report on client programs, providing insights to leadership.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English, or related field.
  • 7+ years experience managing creative teams or resources, interfacing with senior client contacts.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-channel marketing, especially digital (TV/OTT, PR, Site, Email, Social, Paid Media, Direct Mail, Mobile/SMS).
  • Experience with Workfront, Smartsheet, or Figma is a bonus.
  • eCommerce or Retail account management experience.
  • Proven ability to define and execute diverse marketing programs and processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented with mentoring skills.
  • Customer-centric and data-driven mindset.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive.
  • Effective management of creative processes, maintaining quality and brand standards.
  • Less than 10% travel required.

The target hourly compensation range is $50-$56, based on experience, education, certifications, and location.
