Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting growth in a hybrid Southern California role. The position requires an active P&C license (CIC preferred) and sharp analytical and service skills.

Expect collaboration with the team, policy administration, renewals, and proactive client support. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, MS Office

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry
• Active property & casualty (P&C) licensing required; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues with accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain policy management, expirations, and renewals
• Prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues clearly within the team
• Seek and adopt best practices to improve performance
• Demonstrate integrity and leadership in IOA values
