Role Overview

The Account Manager supports clients through account management, claims, and underwriting services, ensuring they receive optimal insurance solutions.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage the entire account service process.
  2. Review applications and renewal requests for marketing strategies.
  3. Negotiate rates and terms with carriers.
  4. Prepare quotes and proposals.
  5. Review policies and process endorsements, certificates, MVRs, Loss Runs, and ID cards.
  6. Bind policies and assist with audits.
  7. Coordinate premium financing.
  8. Collaborate with producers for client meetings and strategy sessions.
  9. Oversee and guide junior team members if applicable.
Qualifications
  1. 5-7 years of commercial insurance experience in a brokerage.
  2. High school diploma or GED.
  3. Insurance license in good standing.
  4. Strong interpersonal skills across all organizational levels.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, and agency management systems (Epic preferred).
  6. Soft skills: time management, organization, customer service, initiative, teamwork, attention to detail.
  7. Bilingual in English/Mandarin preferred but not required.
  8. This is a hybrid role based in the LA/Orange County area.
Compensation

The salary range is $66,650 - $85,000, influenced by skills, experience, and location. Benefits include health/dental/vision/life/disability insurance, FSA, HSA, 401(k), paid time off, and potential bonuses or commissions.
