Join our dynamic US Majors Territory West team as an Account Manager, where you'll play a crucial role in expanding broadband access across the Western Territory. Working remotely with periodic travel, you'll engage directly with service providers, utilities, municipalities, and tribal nations to drive impactful broadband infrastructure projects. Your expertise will help bridge the digital divide and create opportunities for everyday Americans, making your work personally and professionally rewarding.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead pre-sales and post-sales engagements as the primary customer interface.
  2. Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across operator roles (CxO, engineering, operations, marketing).
  3. Partner with sales engineers to identify customer challenges and deliver innovative solutions, driving orders effectively.
  4. Articulate and promote Nokia's vision on cutting-edge technologies and solutions to enhance customer engagement.
  5. Position Nokia as a thought leader by communicating key technological developments to customers.
  6. Maintain an accurate sales forecast in Salesforce.com, identifying opportunity probabilities.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to craft tailored proposals for solutions and services.
  8. Commit to ongoing training to enhance sales skills and product knowledge, embracing 30-50% travel for client interactions.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of telecom experience in a territory environment, focusing on direct sales to rural service providers, utilities, electric coops, and municipal entities.
  • Experience in forecasting and managing opportunities using Salesforce.com.
  • Strong knowledge of the competitive telecom industry.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in complex selling environments.
  • Proven strategic thinking leveraging technical, marketing, and industry insights.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Nokia IP/Optical/Fixed Networks products and solutions.
  • Experience working with consultants for service providers, utilities, and municipalities.
  • Ability to take initiative and lead independently.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
