Position Summary

As a GI Reprocessing Account Manager at STERIS, you will be responsible for selling the full suite of Endoscope Reprocessing products, including capital and consumables, to major hospitals, health systems, and ASCs in a specific geographic territory. Your focus will be on engaging with higher-level decision-makers within hospitals to drive standardized workflows, enhance infection prevention, and improve patient care.

This is a remote, customer-facing position. Candidates must be based in Arizona, specifically in the Phoenix area, to support and service customers in this territory.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Penetrate target accounts with regular visits to foster sales growth and maintain business.
  2. Maximize business within existing accounts through a consultative sales approach.
  3. Understand ordering patterns and pricing guidelines in the acute care setting.
  4. Travel within the territory to increase product exposure and understand customer needs.
  5. Research products, monitor competitors, and industry trends to improve offerings.
  6. Participate in planning and executing marketing and sales strategies.
  7. Collaborate with other departments to meet customer requirements.
  8. Address product reliability issues through troubleshooting and evaluation.
  9. Grow and maintain business within current accounts.
  10. Build consultative relationships to manage infection control practices.
  11. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 3 years of successful sales experience
  • Ability to meet hospital/customer credentialing requirements
Preferred
  • Experience selling capital or disposables into hospitals or GI call points
  • Experience developing annual business plans to meet sales goals
  • Formal sales training and development
  • Proven ability to prioritize and close large opportunities across a large geography
  • Experience with complex sales environments and multiple call points
  • Proficiency with sales processes, CRM, and a track record of success
