We facilitate omni-channel media (display, streaming video, and audio) ad placement, dynamic creative offerings (DCO), and create a unique ability to measure the return on ad spend for our clientele.

Job Description:

As an Account Manager at Cognition, you will independently manage a diverse portfolio of accounts, driving adoption, satisfaction, and measurable client outcomes. You’ll play a key role in the post-sales experience, acting as a strategic partner to your clients and a collaborative connector across internal teams. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in account management who is ready to own client relationships and contribute to scalable account growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day account management for a defined portfolio of clients, developing a deep understanding of their goals, challenges, and use of Cognition’s platform.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders through responsive support, regular business reviews, and proactive performance recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, product, and analytics teams to deliver on client objectives and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Identify upsell opportunities based on client needs and usage patterns, partnering with sales to execute expansion strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and guidance to help clients optimize their campaigns and get the most out of Cognition’s solutions.
  • Monitor campaign and platform performance, escalating issues as needed and driving resolution through the appropriate channels.
  • Support internal process improvement by sharing client insights, feedback, and emerging needs.
  • Maintain accurate account records, including status updates, meeting notes, and deliverables in CRM and project tracking tools.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings to effectively position Cognition’s products and services, driving further growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in account management, customer success, or client services, preferably in a digital media, advertising, or technology environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Results-oriented, with a focus on client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hubspot) and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with advertising platforms and performance metrics a plus.
