Job description

The Account Manager is responsible for owning client relationships post-sale and ensuring customers successfully adopt, engage with, and derive value from Carbon Arc's platform and data assets. This role sits at the intersection of client advocacy, product understanding, and operational execution.

You will guide clients through onboarding and ongoing engagement, act as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders, and partner closely with internal teams to ensure client needs are met. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term relationships, solving problems collaboratively, and helping shape scalable client success processes in a growing company.

What You'll Do
  • Client Onboarding & Implementation
  • Guide clients through the onboarding journey, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to service
  • Partner with internal teams—including Product, Engineering, Insights, and Research & Intelligence—to configure and deliver solutions aligned to client needs
  • Develop onboarding documentation, training materials, and enablement resources to support successful adoption
  • Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of client accounts
  • Monitor account health, usage patterns, and engagement metrics to proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Conduct regular client check-ins, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and feedback sessions
  • Client Advocacy & Retention
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders to understand their goals, workflows, and challenges
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with Sales to expand account value
  • Act as the voice of the client internally, advocating for feature requests, workflow improvements, and prioritization
  • Process Optimization
  • Help refine and scale account management and client success processes as the company grows
  • Contribute to improvements in CRM tools and account management systems to support operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
  • Experience in account management, client success, consulting, or a related customer-facing role
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Comfort working cross-functionally to coordinate solutions and resolve client issues
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including leading client meetings and presentations
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on client outcomes
Nice to Have
  • Experience working with data platforms, analytics tools, or enterprise SaaS products
  • Familiarity with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models
  • Experience conducting QBRs or managing complex stakeholder environments
  • Prior experience in high-growth or startup environments

Location
