Account Manager

Location: Virtual, New York, United States

CommScope is seeking an experienced Account Manager to grow our Cable and Connectivity Solutions (CCS) Business Unit in the NY and NJ area. The role involves virtual work with up to 50% travel, focusing mainly on Tier 1 MSO and Tier 1 Telco companies. The ideal candidate will live in the NJ, NY area.

What to Expect:

This is an individual contributor field sales role, responsible for selling CommScope products, services, or solutions into the Illinois territory. The ideal candidate will be located in Illinois.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Prioritizing sales and customer relationships to meet assigned financial objectives while achieving product sales/solutions goals.
  • Recommending the selection and development of distributors to respective regions.
  • Achieving continued advancement in the marketplace and growing market share.
  • Prospect and nurture growth opportunities using the account planning process; actively manages planning process through scheduled reviews and updates.
  • Cultivate relationships with our channel partners to bring channel-centric go-to-market approach for our customers.
  • Proficient in the understanding of forecast methodologies and provide weekly updates.
  • Excellent time management skills, and work with high levels of autonomy and self-direction.
  • Familiarity with Sales Tools like Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:

  • High School Diploma and 5+ years of proven sales experience.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting and participating in team sales initiatives assembling and communicating pertinent information for assigned accounts.
  • 2+ years of experience owning the entire sales cycle with outstanding customer-facing and presentation skills.
  • Expert ability to establish and nurture positive relationships with existing customers and grow existing revenue streams.

You Will Excite Us If You:

  • Have familiarity with CommScope and our product set.
  • Have experience in Telecom sales with a deep understanding of MSO and Telco sales methodology.

Our salary ranges consider various factors, including but not limited to benchmarking by independent third-party consultants, skills, years of experience, training, education, geography, and other business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with outstanding experience and a demonstrated history of successful performance. This position's expected total compensation (base salary and commission range) is $138,000.00 - $240,000.00.
