Job summary

Uflex Packaging, Inc. seeks an experienced finance professional to lead accounting, close cycles, budgeting, and MIS reporting across the business. You will drive statutory compliance, tax programs, and investment-case analysis to support OPEX and CAPEX decisions.

The role requires GAAP/IFRS expertise, strong governance of DOA and RCRT, and a hands-on approach to improving financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in finance and accounts, audit, statutory compliance.
• Experience with budgeting, variance analysis and profitability analysis.
• MIS reporting and government liaisoning. Knowledge of DOA and RCRT governance.
• Assists in financial matters related to investment decisions: build business cases for OPEX and CAPEX investments.
• Administrating tax programs and ensuring tax compliance.
• Subject matter expert in GAAP and IFRS standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
• Oversee full-cycle accounting (GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations).
• Prepare financial statements and MIS reports.
• Perform budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure tax compliance and strengthen internal controls.
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Drive process improvements and system optimization.
• Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems.
• Manage budgets and prepare forecast reports.
• Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
• Analyze market trends to maximize profits and expansion opportunities.
• Identify risks, propose solutions and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Research and report on business performance influences.
• Prepare and present statutory accounts.
• Responsibility for accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
• Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments and accounting entries.
• Manage audit processes of current systems.
• Monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices.
