Location:

Delphos, OH (ASP) - Ammonia production & filling
Owosso, MI (ASP) - Ammonia production & filling

Do you excel at building lasting relationships? Do you understand that sales is more about showing your customer the value proposition than about the price? Do you have experience selling industrial products? If you answered yes to these questions, we may have the role for you!

Airgas is seeking an Account Manager to support our Specialty Products business. The role involves owning your territory, building partnerships, maintaining gross margins, and converting prospects into long-term customers. This is a remote position, preferably based in Delphos, OH, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI, with travel required.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and enhance relationships with current customers.
  2. Develop and build relationships with prospects to keep the sales funnel full.
  3. Prepare complex bids showcasing our value proposition.
  4. Prepare quotes, supply agreements, and internal documentation.
  5. Report on business transactions and expenses.
  6. Develop strong internal relationships with operations.
  7. Create and update territory business plans.
  8. Maintain sales activity reports using Excel and internal systems.
  9. Travel overnight as needed to manage the sales territory.
  10. Perform other key assignments as requested.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in selling industrial, food, or chemicals to businesses.
Technical knowledge/aptitude is a plus.
