Airgas is seeking an Account Manager for our Specialty Products division. Supporting our business, you will own your territory, managing relationships with existing customers, developing new prospects, and maintaining gross margins. The role requires converting prospects into long-term customers.

This position is remote; candidates should reside in or near Delphos, OH, Indianapolis, IN, or Detroit, MI, to facilitate travel for customer meetings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with current customers.
• Develop and nurture relationships with prospects to ensure a steady sales pipeline.
• Prepare complex bids highlighting our value proposition.
• Draft quotes, supply agreements, and internal documentation.
• Report on business transactions and expenses.
• Build strong internal relationships with operations.
• Create and update a territory business plan regularly.
• Track sales activities using Excel and our CRM system.
• Travel overnight as needed within the territory, including some air travel.
• Perform other key tasks as assigned.
