What You'll Do To Be Successful In This Role

Grow Sales: Meet and exceed monthly sales targets by developing new and existing business following brand guidelines. Follow up on sales leads and identify new opportunities through networking, cold calling, and in-person visits.

Build the Umbra Brand: Identify and place designs in strategic home décor and housewares retailers. Attend tradeshows to raise brand awareness and strengthen market position.

Develop Customer Relationships: Regularly schedule in-person and virtual meetings with key customers. Respond promptly to inquiries to ensure satisfaction.

Build Internal Relationships: Communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Category Management, Finance, Customer Service, and Operations regarding activity, orders, results, competition, and market concerns.

Requirements
What you'll bring...
  • Strong Business Development Skills: Proven success in selling branded product lines, building customer relationships, negotiating, and influencing others.
  • Self-Motivated with Results Orientation: Ability to exceed sales targets, persevere, and handle objections independently.
  • Telecommunication Skills: Effective remote communication, appointment setting, sales calls, and virtual presentations experience.
  • Working Conditions: Comfortable working from home with company tools; travel required with valid passport, driver's license, and reliable vehicle.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office applications and reporting tools, with attention to detail.
  • Preferred Experience: At least 3 years in territory sales or account management; retail/wholesale experience is a plus.
