Job summary

ESS is seeking an Account Manager to oversee daily operations within assigned school districts. You will act as the liaison between ESS staff, district administrators and the corporate office to ensure high‑quality service delivery.

You will lead staffing, coordinate site visits, support presentations to the school board, and drive recruiting efforts while maintaining professional client relationships and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in management or a leadership role.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Familiarity with management reports and data-driven insights.
• Ability to interact well with others and maintain professionalism.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
• Maintains high ethical standards, integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and meetings with ESS clients within the district.
• Serve as main point of contact for contract and account operations.
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, and recognition.
• Assist with presentations to the school board of education.
• Train, direct, and appraise staff and provide coaching.
• Create daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
• Develop recruiting efforts for clients, such as job fairs and events.
• Provide exceptional customer service and problem resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

The Account Manager is responsible for managing the overall daily operations, activities, and staff in assigned school districts, acting as a liaison between ESS staff members, school district administrators and the corporate office to ensure the delivery of quality services.

• Serve as point of contact with each client and ESS management in all matters relating to contract and account operations.
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, firing, disciplinary management, and recognition duties.
• Assist with presentations to the school board of education.
• Train, direct, and appraise staff.
• Make daily schedules for proper manpower utilization.
• Develop and implement recruiting efforts for clients, such as job fairs and special hiring events.
• Provide exceptional customer service by providing solutions to issues in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Other duties as assigned by Regional Manager.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum of one years of experience in management or a leadership role.
• Staffing experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills.
