Job summary

Bridgestone Hose Power in Birmingham, AL is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to grow our hydraulic hose and industrial supply business. You will engage new customers, manage accounts, and provide onsite service to support customer success.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years sales experience in industrial markets, strong communication, and a proven track record of account development. Knowledge of hydraulic hose helps, but is not required; a valid driving record is essential.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Increase sales through selling our products and inventory management system to new customers and expanding business in already established accounts.
• Provide onsite service and support to customers
• Promote the Bridgestone Hose Power branch location and capabilities

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of sales and service experience preferably in industrial markets
• Knowledge of Hydraulic Hose preferred but not required
• Demonstrated progressive sales growth aptitude
• Demonstrated success in opening new accounts
• Demonstrated success in account retention and account development
• Excellent customer service and presentation skills
• Knowledge of maintenance and repair operations
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent driving record
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Outlook and Excel
