Angie Sue Brown Agency in Atlanta is seeking an energetic sales-focused professional to join a small, community-minded team. You’ll assess client needs, recommend coverage options across multiple lines, and build trusted relationships with customers.
Ideal candidates have strong communication, organization, and goal orientation, with licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health or a plan to obtain them. Base salary plus commission; performance-driven earnings potential.
Angie Sue Brown State Farm Agency opened in 2018 and is located right by Piedmont Park, where Midtown, Virginia-Highland, Ansley Park, and Morningside come together.
We’re a local insurance and financial services agency, but relationships are really at the center of what we do. We want our customers to know who we are, trust us, and feel like they have a real person they can call when they need help.
That same philosophy applies to our team.
We’re a small, close-knit office where your work matters and your contribution is noticed. We like to have fun, we support each other, and we genuinely enjoy the people we work with—but we also work hard.
We want to be transparent about that from the beginning.
This is not a position where you wait for work to come to you. You’ll have goals, make calls, follow up consistently, learn a LOT, and be expected to contribute to the success of the agency. In return, you'll have the opportunity to earn more based on your performance, build valuable professional skills, and create a real career path for yourself.
You'll work with new customers to understand what they need and recommend coverage that makes sense for them. You'll have access to 100+ product options across auto, home, renters, life, health, business insurance, and more.
Sell—and follow up.
Sales is an important part of this role. You'll work active leads, talk with people who are already shopping for insurance, follow up with prospects, and ask for their business. There are monthly sales expectations, and we'll be upfront about what those are.
Build relationships, not just quotes.
We're not interested in winning someone's business solely because we're the cheapest option. We want customers who value having an agency and a team they can actually rely on. Your job is to help create that relationship from the first conversation.
Learn an industry.
You do NOT need to come to us knowing insurance. We'll teach you. What we can't teach as easily is curiosity, work ethic, accountability, and a willingness to learn. Those are qualities you need to bring with you.
Get out into Atlanta.
We're active in our community. You may join us at festivals, home shows, local events, referral visits, business partnerships, charitable initiatives, and other opportunities to meet the people and businesses around us.
Interested in eventually owning a business yourself? Even better. For the right person, this role can be an opportunity to learn how a successful insurance agency operates from the inside and potentially prepare for agency ownership in the future.

One More Thing
We're not looking for someone who checks every box perfectly.
